BaKaTa a visible symbol of the invisible balance within us.

About BaKaTa

At BaKaTa, we believe jewelry is more than adornment. Each piece is a symbol, a fragment of a story that connects us to something greater: to nature, to our roots, to intention.

BaKaTa  was born from the desire to share the artistry of Colombian ateliers who craft unique pieces filled with identity and meaning. Every jewel is made by expert hands and an artistic eye, and every piece carries a real story.

We are deeply inspired by the ancestral vision of indigenous peoples, who saw jewelry as a bridge between the divine and the earthly. An expression of strength, connection, and protection. That is why BaKaTa works with capsule collections, limited and carefully curated, where every piece has its place and its purpose. We do not believe in the massive; we believe in the meaningful. Through our collections, we aim to offer more than a jewel: A visible symbol of the invisible balance within us.

And while this journey is just beginning, our intention is clear, to one day give back to the communities that inspire this vision. Because every gesture matters, and every story deserves to be told with respect.

We believe in

Intentional creation, every collection is curated with soul, not speed.
Timeless quality, pieces crafted to last, both in form and feeling.
Meaningful rhythm, we honor the natural tempo of design and connection.
Inner connection, each piece is a quiet companion to who you are becoming.

Our Craft

Every BaKaTa piece is handcrafted in Colombia by skilled ateliers whose work reflects artistry, authenticity, and soul.
We carefully curate capsule collections, selecting only those jewels that embody our values: timeless quality, meaningful design, and a deep connection to nature and culture. This approach allows each collection to speak with intention.

Our Inspiration

BaKaTa draws inspiration from the sacred balance of nature and the ancestral wisdom of Colombia’s indigenous peoples.
Rivers, mountains, and leaves become symbols of strength, protection, and connection, echoes of a worldview where jewelry was never mere adornment, but a bridge between the earthly and the divine.
Guided by this vision, we curate pieces that carry these stories into contemporary life. Each jewel is chosen for the way it embodies both beauty and essence, a quiet reminder of the deeper connections that sustain us.

The Community Behind

BaKaTa is a community in the making. At its heart are Colombian ateliers, whose artistry and heritage give life to every piece we curate. Their work is the foundation, authentic, skilled, and rooted in culture.

But a community is more than its makers. It also includes you, the women who choose jewelry not only for beauty, but for meaning. With every piece, you support Colombian craftsmanship and carry a jewel that blends story with style, tradition with modern life.

Our vision is to let this circle grow: artisans, collectors, and voices who believe that jewelry can be more than adornment, a living bridge between cultures, values, and people.

Because a bridge is only real when more than one crosses it.

Founder Note

BaKaTa is my way of staying close to my origins. Each piece is a small work of art, made by Colombian hands and chosen because it deserves to be seen, worn, and remembered.

Behind every jewel there is an artist.
Behind every artist, a story.
Behind every story, a root.

In pre-Hispanic Colombia, gold was never only material. It held meaning. It was shaped into figures, animals, and symbols connected to nature, ritual, and the way people understood the world.

That memory stays with me.

I created BaKaTa to honor that chain: the craft, the land, the artists, and the roots that give each piece its presence.

A bridge between Colombia and the everyday.
A quiet way of carrying where I come from.
